Opportunities are available for sponsors to benefit from the momentum of this growing quality event. Since 2005 nearly 6,000 people have taken part in Pride Games from Greater Manchester and across the UK. The readers of The Pink Paper, the UK's only national gay news paper, voted Pride Games the best sports event in 2007 and 2008.

Pride Sports is seeking investment in a full range of its activities. Opportunities for sponsorship are detailed below alongside potential brand exposure packages for each.  Pride Sports can also offer sponsors a range of bespoke brand exposure opportunities, which can be negotiated in relation to individual sponsor requirements and levels of investment.  

Greater Manchester

  • The 1st Ever Euro Youth Games - residential weekend £12,000. Your logo on all Youth Games promotional materials distributed nationally, press release, a feature in the event evaluation report and live linked on the Pride Games website and more.
  • Pride Games programme sponsor £900 - 20,000 high quality copies
  • Sport specific Challenge Cups are included in event branding, with bespoke publicity and presentations from £250
  • Headline sponsor of Pride Games 2009 £25,000. Your logo on banners displayed at key Pride Games venues, on Pride Games programmes and named as headline sponsor on the Pride Games website; press release to National and Regional LGBT press.
  • Athletics (Track & Field in an athletice stadium) £600 - Run by Open Athletics, a broad programme of track and field events catering for a wide range of abilities. Held at the excellent Traffod Athletics Stadium near Chorlton.
  • Squash Tournament £600 - Takes part at the National Squash Centre at Manchester's Sport City. A rapidly growing sport in a fantastically memorable venue.
  • Ballroom / Tea Dance £600 - Catering for beginners, intermediate and the more advanced dancer. Includes a fabulous Tea Dance. Instruction by the UK's top same sex dance tutor and held at the Martin Harris Centre in manchester University.
  • International Badminton Tournament £2,500 - A 100 participant competition at the Sugden Centre in central Manchester.
  • Archery & Orienteering £400 - A great outdoors programme at Sale Water Park
  • 10k Run £500 - lots of banner space and a big crowd here
  • Pride Games Closing Festival £2,500  A big closing festival at Salford Quays with 10k run, dancing and Bell Boat Regattas and more. Big crowd and lots of banner space.
  • Active8 - delivery of programme of sports activities for LGBT young people £8,000. Your logo on the LGBT Youth North West and Pride Games websites, your logo on printed programmes, a Press release to National and Regional LGBT press.

Regional

  • LGBT Sports Development project (inc. 10 new group start ups) £10,000. Your brand acknowledged as key sponsor for new group start ups, your logo on initial publicity materials, including websites, of all new groups; your logo on the Pride Sports website and a press release to national and regional LGBT press.
  • Positively Healthy £6,000. Your logo on the Positively Healthy page of the Pride Games website. Logo on all Positively Healthy printed materials. Press release to national and regional LGBT press.
  • Out & Active Branding with Pride Sports - Out & Active sports guide 20010 ‘in association with your brand, plus editorial £6,000.

National

  • www.gaysportuk.org Pride Sports web service for national LGBT sports, leisure and activity as requested by delegates at the first national summit 2008 £5,000. Your branded banner on website Home Page and link to your website.
  • National LGBT Sport Summit, scheduled for 20th 2010 in Cardiff June £8,000. Your branding on all Summit publicity and the Summit Report. Your company's presence at the Summit. Press release to National and LGBT Press.
