  1. March 13, Sheffield Eagles Rugby Football League team will become the first semi-professional team to wear aan anit-homophobia message on their match shirts during a games: Homophobia - Tackle it! and it will have a Pride Sports and LGBT HM logo on the back. National coverage is expected. 
  2. Pride Sports is hosting the brand new IGLFA European Football Championship 2011. It will form part of Pride Games 2011. 500 participants are expected and the economic impact will be significant.
  3. Pride Games will also play host to WAMM (Women's Aquatic meet Manchester). The UK's first ever LGBT women only international swim tournament. An EU Youth in Action Project, it is being organised by for under 30 year old women swimmers to encourage participation by under represented people, as volunteers, in delivery, women swimmers etc.
  4. Pride Games will host the first LGBT cycling Audax in the Peak District Sat 4 June.

  6. Pride Sports is partnered with LGBT History Month for 2011/12, which is themed to sport for the next 2 years in the run up to the Olympics. Many additional events have been scheduled and Pride Sports jointly delivered a southern and Northern launch of LGBT HM.
  7. Already in 2011, Pride Sports has given over £20,000 worth of volunteer time to support a range of initiatives. It expects to impact upon 4,000 direct beneficiaries this year, with equity messages reaching many thousands more nationally.
