Following two years of preparation and the successful delivery of six annual Pride Games multi-sport events, Pride Sports in partnership with Manchester City council, Marketing Manchester and the North West Development Agency is now advancing bid prepartion to bid for a large Eurogames in Greater Manchester  for 2015. This timetable was agreed to fit in with the historic joint announcement in Manchester earlier this year by the co-presidents of both the Federation of Gay Games and the Gay and Lesbian International Sports Association, committing to work towards one quadrenial event in 2018. The new joint event may adopt a new name, though this will be in the melting pot for some time to come.
